As the third-largest school district in Texas and the largest employer in Northwest Harris County, Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District impacts the lives of far more than the 115,000 students and thousands of teachers, employees and administrators across 88 elementary, middle and high school campuses and special program facilities that study and work within our walls. In fact, we’re proud that as a top-rated school district, the work we do within our school system extends beyond the schools and permeates within our neighborhoods and businesses, making the greater Cypress-Fairbanks community a better place to work, live, study and play. The Cypress-Fairbanks community excels because of our CFISD cheerleaders; the individuals and businesses that invest in and support our students and community at large.
Today, we highlight Todd Ray of the Allstate Insurance Todd Ray Agency, a committed business partner of the school district and a CFISD parent.

How long have you lived/worked in Cypress-Fairbanks?
Why are you so passionate about being a part of the Cypress-Fairbanks community?
I have traveled the country and the world for business and pleasure, so I can say with conviction that the Cy-Fair community is one of the best places to live on the planet! We are blessed with so many attributes such as affordable housing, excellent schools and many employment and entertainment opportunities. My wife and I have lived, worked and raised our family in this community and we plan to be here for a very long time!
How has Cypress-Fairbanks ISD impacted you, your family or your business?
CFISD has impacted both my family and my business in a very positive way. From a family perspective, CFISD has provided both of my children with an excellent education in a safe, fun and challenging environment. On the business side, my Allstate agency has partnered with CFISD students, faculty and administration for the past several years and the benefits are countless. The most impactful engagement has been the CFISD mentoring program. The students we have mentored at Goodson Middle School have enriched our lives and our business beyond words. We are so grateful for that experience.
What piece of advice would you like to give to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD students?
I would advise the students of CFISD to simply enjoy their time in school and to follow their dreams. There are so many career and life opportunities presented by CFISD, and if they embrace those opportunities they will be setup for successful life, no matter what career path they ultimately pursue.
What’s your favorite thing to do, see, eat or experience in our community?
One of my favorite things to do in our community is to watch a Friday night football game at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium. The Berry Center is an awesome facility, and the sense of community and the experience at the football games is second to none.
